Investigate linen as a weaving material with Rena Roohipour!
Investigate linen as a weaving material with Rena Roohipour as you create a woven piece inspired by the threads, fabrics and plants of flax.
Participants will learn how to warp a small frame loom and learn simple weaving and colour blending, as well as how to control the weft to create a stable piece, how to effectively create texture, using sumac stitch and rya loops. Secure finishing will be taught, and participants will cut off and knot their piece to take home.
