Take part in a comfortable four-day course and develop your creative writing voice!
Develop your creative writing voice in this comfortable, beginner friendly writing workshop with poet Francis Hesketh. Francis will help strengthen your style of writing whether through prose, memoir or biography by building understanding of what makes longer form writing tick.
Attendees are encouraged to bring along their favourite books to discuss as we dive into extracts from both classic and modern literature to demonstrate the endless varieties that your writing style could take.
The workshops will take place Mon–Thurs on the week beginning July 31st from 1pm–4pm, and finishing on August 3rd. As part of our Come Together arts programme we will host a joint exhibition with work from all the workshops on August 12th.
Materials and light refreshments will be provided. Participants must be age 16+.
We’re able to provide these workshops at a subsidised rate thanks to Arts Council funding.
Come Together is a creative programme of workshops designed to put on a variety of classes in the rural Moneydarragh Area! This project has been kindly funded by the National Lottery Fund and Arts Council NI.
